Liverpool beat Chelsea in a thrilling tiebreaker to win the English League Cup (Carabao) final. The team won the title for the ninth time.
The match ended in a goalless draw with the scheduled 90 minutes and extra 30 minutes tied. Bajimat Liverpool is there.
Liverpool tasted their first domestic title of the season, beating Chelsea 11-10 in a 22-shot tiebreaker.
Liverpool had 54 percent of the ball in the match.

Liverpool failed to score in the first half in a 4-3-3 formation at Wembley. Chelsea's defense could not be broken even after several attacks. In the second half, the All Reds were more aggressive but Liverpool did not get the desired goal due to the failure of the forwards. Chelsea focused on maintaining the first half in a 3-4-2-1 formation. Chelsea could not attack in the second half. Liverpool blocked one attack after another and took the match in extra time. No team could score a goal there either.
In the end the match was decided by tiebreaker. In the first ten shots, both the teams caught the ball ten times. However, Chelsea lost the way in the 11th shot. Chelsea's goalkeeper Kepa Arizabalaga failed to find the back of the net in the 11th shot of Liverpool. In this tiebreaker, Liverpool won the title with 11-10 goals. After the 2011-12 season, the All Reds won the Carabao Cup again. Liverpool now have the highest title in the Carabao Cup, behind Manchester City. 6 from City and 9 from Liverpool.
