Russia has made explosive allegations against Ukraine. Moscow has repeatedly accused Ukraine of backtracking on the terms agreed upon in the peace talks.

"Unfortunately, Ukraine is not stable on the issues agreed upon by the two sides," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters at a news conference. They are constantly changing their position.

However, he also said that communication at the expert level is continuing for peace talks.

Russia, meanwhile, has continued to attack Ukraine, despite Peskov's remarks.

Russian forces are launching rocket and air strikes on various cities in Ukraine, including the capital Kiev. War sirens have been sounded almost all the time to warn of attacks.

At least five people were killed and 13 were injured in Kharkiv. The town of Mykolive is under constant rocket fire.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the attack was a deliberate attempt to intimidate. Mortar and rocket attacks on civilians continue.

Russia's foreign minister, Dmitry Kuleba, has said that Russia wants to destroy Mariupol. There is nothing left in the city.

Russia is planning to cut off access to the city, city officials say.
